- Photos: Agents may optionally take a photo when recording a collection, for receipt verification purposes. Photos are stored securely on our servers.
- Device Information: Basic device and network state information for app functionality.
- Usage Logs: Login activity and in-app actions for security and audit purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To record and manage loan collections and payment history
- To allow field agents to log payments on behalf of borrowers
- To generate reports for administrators
- To verify agent field activity using location stamps

3. Device Permissions
The Shunmugah Finance app requests the following device permissions:
- Camera: Used to optionally capture a photo when recording a payment collection. This is not mandatory.
- Location (GPS): Used to attach a location stamp to collection entries made by field agents. Location is only accessed during the entry creation process, not in the background.
- Internet & Network State: Required to sync data with our servers.
You can revoke these permissions from your device settings at any time. Revoking location or camera permissions may limit some features but will not prevent basic app usage.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties. Data is only accessible to:
- Authorized administrators of your organization
- Field agents assigned to specific borrowers
- Borrowers (limited to their own loan and payment records)
5. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored on secured servers. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Access to data is role-based and restricted to authorized users only.

This application is intended for use by businesses and their authorized staff. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 18.
